Opened in 1976 and administered by the Mangakahia Sportsground Society, the facilities include a large Community building with two Squash courts, two Rugby fields, multiple junior Football fields, a playground with basketball hoop and a walking loop.

The Complex facilities are available for hire for your next function (all celebrations including birthdays, weddings, funerals, meetings and workshops) and these include two reception lounges, both with commercial kitchens, as well as a multi-use hall/gymnasium with kitchenette. The upstairs lounge has a fully licensed bar.

• Mangakahia Group Fitness
• Mangakahia Junior Football Club
• Mangakahia Lions Club
• Mangakahia Rugby Club
• Mangakahia Squash Club

A few other groups regularly meet at the Complex, so why not join in to Children’s dance classes, Yoga, Bootcamp fitness, Pump classes, Pickleball and a Social Club which are all run weekly. 

Many other local organisations including schools use the Complex as a venue for sports, fitness, huis, corporate workshops and other community events.
